FOR ADULTS

Group 178.jpg

At Terwillegar Community Church we desire for all who call our church home to feel that they have a place they can connect. In each of the programs listed below, it is our deire that participants would come to know Jesus, walk with Jesus and share Jesus. We hope that you can find a program that works for you to participate in.

For Young Adults

TCC has a growing and vibrant young adults ministry, gathering regularly to build relationships, hang out, study, pray, and have fun. At various times throughout the year, we will have outings and connecting events.

Small Groups

Our young adults small groups choose their meeting times each semester and gather to build community, study the Word, and pray with one another in homes or here at the church.

Young Adults Events

On a Friday, once every second month, young adults at TCC have the opportunity to connect with one another, develop lasting friendships, enjoy meals, hear from God's Word, meet with Jesus, and have a ton of fun. Keep an eye on our upcoming events page to see what's happening next!

Young Adults Hangouts

One Friday each month between our larger events, our young adults get together to kick back and relax or battle it out in a board game or a game of ping pong or foosball. We may even have video games setup from time to time.

Mid-Week Opportunities Open to All

Worship and Prayer Nights: We invite our whole church family to gather together on a Sunday evening for a meal and an extended time of worship and prayer. While the format differs month to month, the goal of praying and worshipping together stays the same. This is a great place to connect with others from TCC.

Community Groups: Community Groups are formed through Sunday signups, intentionally meet at regular intervals, develop relationships, and "refresh" every semester is designed to allow each person the opportunity to connect with a wide variety of individuals. Learn more about Community Groups.

Home Groups: Small groups of families from TCC who are committed to walking alongside one another meet regularly to experience fellowship, learn, and pray together.

Equip Discipleship Classes: Equip ministries offers learning sessions aimed to, “equip the saints for the work of the ministry” (Ephesians 4:12), by offering resources to help you grow in your walk with God. Equip blends the community and fellowship of a HOME group with the content and teaching of a classroom. Participants are asked to commit to 8 weeks where they will journey alongside others in learning more about aspects of the Christian faith. These sessions are open to all people at all ages and stages of life. These classes are a great space to get to know others at TCC. It is a HOME Group format without the commitment.

Triads: Triads are 3 people committed to walking closely together and grow in their faith together. Similar to accountability groups or partners, Triads are meant to be groups where individuals are challenged in their spiritual growth and grow in a depth of friendship. A good rule of thumb for a minimum commitment to Triads is 3,2,1. Three People, for a minimum of two hours, at least once a month. These groups are not administrated by the church, but direction and help in forming or running a Triad is provided. Contact adam@tcchurch.ca.

Alpha: Alpha is a series of sessions that freely explore the big questions of life. It’s an opportunity to meet new people, discover more about the Christian faith, and share your thoughts in a friendly environment. Contact steve@tcchurch.ca for more information.

English Language Learners Conversations Cafe: This is a fun and interactive group that meets each week to practice English language skills. Native English speakers will be paired in small groups with those learning English as a second language. This group meets weekly throughout September to June. Native English speakers are invited to volunteer with us!
