Our sunday

Please feel welcomed to join us for worship on Sundays. We begin our service at 10am each week at 1751 Towne Centre Blvd NW. Our service is concluded around 11:15 and is immediately followed by a hot brunch. We welcome those in attendance to feel free to enjoy the meal, and to take the time to connect with others. If you’re thinking about visiting us, read below for more information about what to expect. Pictures of our Sunday morning are also at the bottom of this page.

What is a typical worship Service like?
Each week we sing songs in worship, pray together, and listen to a message taught from the Bible. We take communion once a month, and often have baby dedications or baptisms as part of our service.

How should I dress?
TCC has a casual atmosphere. You should feel comfortable wearing jeans and a t-shirt, but you will also feel comfortable getting dressed up.

Will I have to participate in any way?
During the Worship Service you are encouraged to sing and sometimes to read Scripture along with the rest of the congregation. You will never be singled out alone. At TCC you will never be pressured into any tasks. However, people who willingly commit to serving the church and community with their gifts and actively participate in events, on teams, or get involved in ministry responsibilities always feel a deeper sense of belonging. TCC encourages everyone to take part.

If you have any other questions that we can answer to help make your visit to TCC more comfortable, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

What are the messages like?

Our pastor’s aim to preach God’s word in such a way that all listening come to know Jesus more, understand better how to walk with Jesus, and are inspired to share who Jesus is with others. You can check out what a message is like by clicking here.

What is the music like?
The music is contemporary and meaningful. We aim to sing songs that are familiar and up lifting. Older hymns, and the most recent worship songs (and everything in between) can be heard on any given Sunday morning. Our worship leaders are genuine, have a deep love for Jesus, and seek to create a pathway for people to worship God.

What about my children?
We have a vibrant children’s ministry at TCC which you can read more about by clicking here. When you first arrive at TCC you’ll need to check in your children at the check-in desks. Our children’s check-in is located at the main entrance of the church (South-West entrance). All kids Preschool through Grade 4 are in their classes upstairs at 10:00am. Grades 5 & 6 begin in the service and are dismissed to their classroom midservice. Check-in opens at 9:45 and closes at 10:15. Children not yet checked-in by that time may do so at the station in the Nursery.

Children up to 2 years of age may receive child-care in the nursery. The Nursery is on the main level, next to the Kitchen. The 2’s Room (Room 207) is upstairs at the south end of the hall leading from The Great Room.
