TCC is a church for the community of Terwillegar. As such, we see our role as being an active participant in the life of the community and seek to find ways to serve the community. One of the practical things we do is host a variety of community events at no cost to the people attending. These events are designed to be fun, family events that provide an opportunity for neighbours to connect with one another. Unless otherwise noted, these events are held at the Tomlinson Common Playground in the heart of Terwillegar Towne.

Spring Carnival

On a Saturday in May, from 2 – 4 pm, TCC hosts a Spring Carnival. Complete with carnival games, petting zoo, bouncy house, popcorn, cotton candy, face painting, and water, there are plenty of things to do to keep everyone busy. If we could just find a way to shorten the line-ups...

The next Spring Carnival is June 2, 2018.

Friday at the Park

This event, held once in late June and once in late August or early September, is a great, relaxing way to end the week and a fun, informal way to meet your neighbours. Parents don’t need to worry about what to cook or what to do – hot dogs, watermelon, and water are provided. And kids can burn off any remaining energy by jumping around a bouncy house. Friday at the Park is from 6 - 8 pm.

The next Friday at the Park will be in June 2018.

Winter Delight

Our annual celebration of winter is held at the end of November, just before the Christmas season gets into full swing. In many ways, “Winter Delight” is a fitting way to kick off the Christmas season. What says “Christmas” better than a horse drawn sleigh ride, hot chocolate, cookies, and bonfires? Not to mention the decorations and music? Oh, and it’s been said that Santa even pays a visit!  Winter Delight is from 4-6 pm.

The next Winter Delight is November 25, 2017.

Terwillegar Community League

TCC seeks to be a good partner with the Terwillegar Community League, meeting the needs of the community together.  Check out the Terwillegar Community League website.
