Reading Scripture Well: A Day of Equipping

  • Terwillegar Community Church (map)

Have you ever opened your Bible and wondered, “What am I supposed to do with this? How do I understand this? What does this have to do with me?” You’re not alone. Many of us want to read Scripture with more confidence, but don’t always know where to start or how it all fits together.

As we practice reading Scripture together, we’re setting aside a Saturday to grow as a church in how we read the Bible—simply, thoughtfully, and well.

This won’t be a lecture-heavy day. It’s designed to be engaging and practical, with a mix of teaching, conversation, and Q&A. We’ll explore the big story of Scripture, learn a few key tools for understanding what we read, and talk honestly about how we can trust and respond to God’s Word in everyday life.

This day is open to everyone. Whether you’re brand new to the Bible or have been reading it for years, this is a space to grow in clarity and confidence as you engage with Scripture.

Lunch will be provided, and no prior experience is needed. Just come ready to learn, ask questions, and grow together.

This event will be taking place in the Lobby/Fireside area. This event will also be $10.00 (cash only). Pastor Adam will collect payment the day of. Deadline to register is May 17.
