Family Ministries
Family life is a building block of faith at Terwillegar Community Church. If you have a child between 0-12 years of age, these programs are designed to help you grow together in your faith.
Family Ministries at TCC exists to foster a whole family approach to discipleship that prioritizes the spiritual health of children by advocating for parents as the spiritual leaders of the home in order to see families who know Jesus, walk with Jesus and share Jesus with one another.
Join us in Tcc Kids Church
TCC Kids Church is offered Sunday mornings during our 9:00am and 11:00am church services. TCC Kids Church for all ages will journey through the whole story of Scripture, from Genesis to Revelation. TCC Kids Church volunteers are screened and trained on TCC’s Child Protection Policy. Our church family loves and cares for one another’s children and these volunteers are here to serve your family as we grow in faith together.

Infant Care (main floor nursery)
0-24 months
Check in at our Kids Welcome Table in the front entrance for a sticker label first
Drop off on the main floor beside the Sanctuary to our loving volunteers; glass windows for easy monitoring.
Nursing Mother’s room available in view of the Sanctuary with audio of the service
Toddlers (upstairs in preschool classrooms)
2-3 years
Registration and check in is done at the main entrance of the church upon arrival - All children must have labels for drop off and pick up
Engage in play and bible reading in an upstairs classroom
Elevator is available for accessibility
Pre-kinders & Kindergarteners (upstairs preschool area)
4-6 years
Registration and check in is done at the main entrance of the church upon arrival - All children must have labels for drop off and pick up
Pre-kinder and Kindergartens engage in a large group teaching time and small group crafts and activities
Classrooms are located upstairs in the northeast part of the building
Elevator is available for accessibility
Big Kids Church (Grades 1-4)
Registration and check-in is done at the main entrance of the church upon arrival - All children must have labels for drop-off and pick-up
Children remain in the service for a time of family worship and then are dismissed from the service after approximately 15 minutes.
The ‘Great Room’ is located at the top of the main stairwell for pick-up
Children engage in a large group teaching time (all grades and mixed gender) followed by small group discussion, crafts, and activities (divided by grade and gender).
Parents must come to collect their children and sign them out after the worship service
Preteen Church (Grades 5-6)
Registration and check-in is done at the main entrance of the church upon arrival - All children must have labels for drop-off and pick-up
Children remain in the service for a time of family worship and then are dismissed from the service after approximately 15 minutes.
The ‘Flex Room’ is located upstairs in the far southwest corner of the church
Children engage in a large group teaching time (all grades and mixed gender) followed by small group discussion, crafts, and activities (divided by grade and gender).
Children will be dismissed without parent pickup

Register your family for Children’s Church in the 2026/27 year!
All families with children ages infant to 12 years old will need to register to participate in Sunday morning Sunday School as well as other family or child programming throughout the year.
Registering your family will help us get to know you and connect you with resources, activities, and programs that fit your family life.
