My name is Norb Janke and I have been on staff at TCC since March 2009, first as Associate Pastor and now as Lead Pastor (since February 2019). My joy at TCC is to serve with a fantastic team of staff and Elders, together setting the direction for the church. I have the privilege of preaching, leading, shepherding and administrating. My desire is to guide the church so that we focus on mission and keep our hearts in tune with our vision. The simplicity of “know, walk, and share Jesus” resonates deeply with me, as that is the desire for my life. And really, what can be better than seeing people walking passionately with Jesus in order to joyfully serve others?
Born and raised in Edmonton, I attended the University of Alberta and then Edmonton Baptist Seminary (now Taylor Seminary), graduating in 1992. I served as an Associate Pastor (Youth) in Calgary and as a Senior Pastor in Ontario, before coming “home.” My wife, Tina, is from Cleveland, Ohio (married in 1994) and we have two young adult children, Lucas and Anna (1998 and 2000). We enjoy hanging out as a family, playing games and watching movies (although they will say that I sleep through most of them). I enjoy home projects, including figuring out how to fix something that is broken (isn’t that what YouTube is for?), and following and watching sports.

Hey, my name is Quinn Pereverseff and I joined the TCC team in September of 2017. It’s my privilege to work with the students as their youth pastor. I have had the heart for student ministry for a very long time, in fact it was back when I was in youth that I first heard God’s calling on my life for this ministry. I pursued this calling through attending Prairie Bible College and I graduated in 2013.
Terwillegar Community Church and Edmonton quickly became home for my wife and I when we moved from southern Alberta. We love the city and its people and we are so excited about being apart of what God is doing in TCC. My wife Lara and I met attending a youth conference back when we were teenagers and we got married in 2013, 1 day after graduating College. We enjoy many different activities such as playing board games, going to the museum, escape rooms, and doing new and exciting things.
My favourite part of my job is getting to build authentic relationships with our students, leaders and their families. It’s a joy when we see our students come to know Jesus and walk out their faith more. It is my desire to see us live in authentic community as we pursue Jesus in our everyday life.

My name is Adam Buyer and I have served as Associate pastor at TCC since the summer of 2017. My role at TCC has me working in the areas of adult discipleship (Equip), men’s ministry, HOME groups and worship. I love being part of the TCC team and witnessing individuals grow in their love for Jesus and their community as they see the many ways God’s story intersects with theirs.
I graduated in 2014 from SAIT with a Ticket in Carpentry before going to Prairie College to receive a bachelors of Arts in Pastoral Ministry. I am currently pursuing my masters of Divinity at Taylor Seminary.
My wife Jalene and I were married in 2008 and have one daughter, Elisabeth who was born in 2018. As a couple we love ministering together through music and speaking. We started a music ministry called “Elsa and Foster” in 2013 and continue to work to put words together in ways that encourage others. I greatly enjoy spending time with my family, listening to vinyl, going for a run, and sipping on cup of coffee.

My name is Ann Kuehn and I have served at TCC part time since the fall of 2012 in various roles. I am currently the Director of Discipleship. In my role, I am involved in all aspects of Women's ministry, engage in thinking and planning around Spiritual Formation and Spiritual Disciplines and enjoy going for coffee to discuss Life and God. I love living and working in Terwillegar Towne and have a heart to see my community flourish in all ways.
I graduated from University of Alberta with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Sociology in 1998. I am also a graduate of King's Universities Spiritual Direction program and enjoy offering Spiritual Direction to the broader Christian Community.
In 1999, I made the best decision of my life and married my good friend, Greg. We have three children, Jack, born 2003, Carter, born 2005, and Lily born 2009. Our family can often be found at the hockey rink as both our boys love playing. In the spring, we are cheering on Lily as she plays community soccer. Greg is a great coach! We enjoy time at the beach in the summer at our family cabin in Lac la Biche. I enjoy a good cup of coffee, especially with a friend or a good book. Otherwise, you can find me in the kitchen as I have a hungry crew to feed.

My name is Ken McDonald, and back in 2002 God led me in giving leadership to the formation of Terwillegar Community Church. I am passionate about connecting with communities to share with them the exciting love of God! This passion has continued to move me as I now serve as the lead pastor at TCC’s daughter church South West community church. In January 2019 I resigned as Senior Pastor of TCC so that I could focus more of my energy on leading Southwest. I continue to serve at TCC in a teaching role.
My wife Marg and I, are blessed with three daughters and six grandchildren. My relaxing moments are spent with the latest technical gadgets, golfing, travelling, keeping current with politics and best of all, my family!

My name is Cheryl Horn. I’ve been on staff in Children’s Ministry since 2014, and count it a privilege to be able to play a role in the spiritual development of TCC’s youngest members. I feel very blessed to work with an amazing team of Children’s Ministry Leaders on staff, as well as many, many wonderful volunteers who make the fun happen upstairs in Adventureland each Sunday. I also am involved with the administration of TCC’s Safety and Security Policy and am the one who plans fire drills and other super-exciting things like that!
I married Joe, my dreamy (literally… he has a lot of cool dreams!) husband in 1996, and we have three boys – Elijah, Gabriel and Joshua. All of my boys (Joe included!) are into music of various sorts: making electronic beats, playing piano, guitar, bass, drums and saxophone, too. As a result, my house is a bit on the loud side- but I wouldn’t have it any other way! Joe is an electrician by trade, and an artist in his spare time… at present he is focused on making mosaic artworks.
In my spare time I like to engage in artistic pursuits of any kind! I love mixed media art the most, though. Nature walks in the woods are another favorite thing- especially in the mountains around where my parents live, but Edmonton has some pretty nice spots, too. I am also chipping away at a master’s degree in Art Therapy, and have a passion for seeing people restored to spiritual and emotional health.
