Canada Day Carnival Community Impact Team

At Terwillegar Community Church, we believe God has placed us in this community for a purpose. As followers of Jesus, we are called not only to gather together, but also to go into our neighbourhoods, serve others, and be a visible expression of Christ's love.

In order to create opportunities for meaningful partnership, TCC stepped back from hosting our own carnival and chose instead to come alongside the Community League in what they are doing. We see this as more than volunteering—it is an opportunity to be present where our neighbours are, to build relationships, to serve with humility, and to participate in what God is already doing in our community.

What a privilege it is to be invited into this space. Through simple acts of service, friendly conversations, and a willing heart, we have the opportunity to demonstrate the love of Christ and shine His light in our neighbourhood.

8:30am – 11:00am: Set-up team

10:50am – 3:10pm – Inflatable station

10:50am – 3:10pm – Watermelon station

10:50am – 3:10pm – General Duties

2:45pm – 4:15pm – Take Down team
