At TCC we believe that families grow in faith together.
Parents, let’s work together to teach our children biblical truths, help them to practice following Jesus, and engage them in meaningful Christian community.
Fall Teaching
This fall in TCC Kids Church, our children will continue to make their way through the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation. In August, we will be in Unit 1: God Rules Over Creation. Through the early chapters of Genesis, kids will discover how God created the universe out of nothing. Even though people chose to reject God, God had a plan to send his son Jesus and restore this broken relationship. In September, we will go through Unit 2: God Made a Promise, where children will see God’s faithfulness through the fulfilment of the promises made to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. In October, we will be in Unit 3: God is in Control. By looking at the lives of Jacob, Joseph, and Job, kids will discover that God controls everything in heaven and on earth; nothing is outside of God’s good plan. Each lesson will help children understand how the Bible fits together and points to Jesus. The same biblical story and central truth will be taught in developmentally appropriate ways across our Littles, Kids, and Preteen spaces.

August-September
UNIT 1 - GOD RULES OVER CREATION: A 5-Week Series on the early chapters of Genesis
UNIT DESCRIPTION:
God created the universe out of nothing. The eternal God rules over His creation. Everything was created to give glory to God the Father through His Son, Jesus, but people chose to reject God’s good plan. The whole Bible reveals how Jesus came to restore the relationship between God and humanity.

September-October
UNIT 2 - GOD MADE A PROMISE: A 4-Week Series on the family of Abraham.
UNIT DESCRIPTION:
God’s faithfulness is demonstrated in His fulfillment of the promises He made to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The promises of God are not dependent upon the understanding or faithfulness of man. He is always faithful to keep His promises. God’s covenant with Abraham, that all people would be blessed through his family, is a promise that points to Jesus as the hope of the world.

October-November
UNIT 3 - GOD IS IN CONTROL: A 4-week series on the lives of Jacob, Joseph, and Job
UNIT DESCRIPTION:
God is in control of all things in heaven and on earth. Nothing is outside of His good plan. We see this in the lives of Jacob, Joseph, and Job. God is a faithful promise keeper who is always present with His people despite their difficulties and suffering.
