winter teaching series
From January through April, our kids will journey through the Gospels in a winter teaching series that highlights who Jesus is and how we are invited to follow Him. We’ll begin with Extra-Ordinary, exploring Jesus’ early life and ministry and discovering how His humility, trust in God, and call to follow set Him apart. Next, Trailblazer invites kids to engage with Jesus’ countercultural teachings and learn how His way of love, prayer, and trust leads us on a better path. In You’re Invited, children will see that Jesus’ invitation is always open—welcoming everyone to believe, love, ask for help, and worship Him. Finally, we’ll celebrate Easter with Clue, following the story of Scripture to discover that Jesus is alive and that the Bible tells the complete story of God’s love, meant to be shared with the world.

DECEMBER
FOLLOW THE STAR: A 4-Week Series on Christmas from the Gospels.
SERIES OVERVIEW:
Many families hit the road during the Christmas season, whether it’s to visit loved ones or take a much-needed break. It’s a time-honored tradition—one that might even be traced back to the first Christmas when a bright star dropped a pin on a special location to guide people to the birthplace of the savior. In this 4-week series, kids will learn that God gives people to guide us, God gives hope to guide us, God gives a Savior to guide us, and God gives direction to guide us.
JANUARY
EXTRA-ORDINARY: A 4-Week Series from the Gospels on Jesus' Early Life & Ministry
SERIES OVERVIEW: Inventors take ordinary objects and transform them into extraordinary innovations with some creativity and a lot of tinkering. But Jesus didn’t need tools, blueprints, or a workshop to make extraordinary things happen. On the outside, Jesus may have seemed ordinary, but his life, actions, and love regularly defied expectations. He transformed ordinary people and situations, showing us what an extraordinary God can do. In this 4-week series, kids will learn that Jesus is one of a kind, Jesus is humble, Jesus trusted God, and Jesus calls us to follow.
FEBRUARY
TRAILBLAZER: A 4-Week Series from the Gospels on Jesus' Teachings
SERIES OVERVIEW: Jesus was a true trailblazer—not just for his time, but for all time! Jesus' teachings and way of life often went against the grain of what people expected, showing us a whole new way to live and love. While blazing new trails, Jesus never wavered from the path of following God, and he paved the way for us to follow his lead. In this 4-week series, kids will learn to trust Jesus even when it’s not easy, show others the way to God, let God’s love take the lead, and pray the way Jesus prayed.

YOU'RE INVITED: A 5-Week Series from the Gospels on Jesus' Ministry
SERIES OVERVIEW: Getting invited to a party is one of the best feelings, and being left out is one of the worst. But there's good news—Jesus never leaves anyone out! He invites everyone to spend time with him, experience his love, and share it with others. This series will remind kids that Jesus' invitation is always open, and we're never too far away to join the party! In this 5-week series, kids will learn that I'm invited to believe in Jesus, love like Jesus does, experience Jesus' miracles, ask Jesus for help, and worship Jesus.
APRIL
CLUE: A 4-Week Series from the Gospels on Easter
SERIES OVERVIEW: This series kicks off with the greatest news ever—Jesus is alive! But even his closest friends were surprised by what they discovered. Each week, kids will follow the clues in the Bible, looking at the stories leading up to Easter and connecting them to other moments in Jesus’ life and ministry. Along the way, they’ll see that the Bible isn’t just full of clues about who Jesus is—it’s the complete story of God’s love. In this 4-week series, kids will learn that the Bible says Jesus is alive, the Bible tells us Jesus loves us, the Bible reveals who Jesus is, and the Bible shows us how to share God’s love.
