Growing in Christ Together

At TCC we believe that families grow in faith together.

Parents, let’s work together to teach our children biblical truths, help them to practice following Jesus, and engage them in meaningful Christian community.

SPRING teaching series

This spring in Kids Church, our elementary students will continue to follow the rhythm of the church calendar as we explore key moments in God’s story together. In May, during the weeks after Easter, we will study the Early Church in a series called True Story, where kids will discover in the book of Acts how the first believers grew, prayed, and boldly shared the good news through the power of the Holy Spirit. In June, our series In the Beginning takes us to the opening chapters of Genesis, where children will learn how God created the world with care, made people in his image, and began his plan to rescue and guide his people. Then in July, in We Are Family, we will follow the story of Abraham and his family, discovering what it means to trust God’s promises, pray for our families, and know that we are welcomed into God’s family. Together, these series help children see the big story of the Bible and invite them to trust God, follow him, and share his love in their everyday lives.

The best thing we can do is give that love back by taking care of the world God has given us. In this 4-week series, kids will learn that God made the world and everything in it, we are made in God’s image, God made a plan to save us, and God helps us make good choices!

Just like in games, family life can have its own ups and downs, whether it’s with our given or chosen families. In this 4-week series, kids will explore how Abraham’s family navigated challenges and blessings while learning how we can care for our families, serve them well, and remember that we’re all part of God’s family. As they do, kids will learn that we can believe God’s promises, we can pray for our families, we can trust God to provide, and we’re all welcome in God’s family.
