Registration & Enrollment
Do current and alumni families have priority for future registrations?
Yes. Once current students and their siblings have been placed in their preferred classes, siblings of previous students are given priority before registration opens to new families.
Can my child begin attending classes at any point during the year?
New enrollments are accepted until December 31. After December 31, registration is for the following school year.
What if I register online but do not receive a confirmation email?
A: First, check your junk or spam folder. You may also want to add tcchurch.ca, tcpreschool.ca, and squarespace.com to your safe senders list.
Age Requirements
Can my child start attending classes if they haven’t yet had their third birthday?
Children must be 3 years old by September 30 to attend our program.
Tuition & Payments
If my child is absent from class, do I still pay the same monthly fee?
Yes. Monthly tuition remains the same regardless of the reason for or length of an absence.
How do I submit registration fees and tuition payments?
Payments can be sent by e-transfer to admin@tcpreschool.ca, payable to Terwillegar Community Preschool Society.
Is subsidy available for preschool tuition?
As of April 2025, government subsidies are no longer available for preschool programs.
Preparing for Preschool
Does my child need to be fully potty trained before attending classes?
Yes. Because we are a licensed facility, diapers and pull-ups are not permitted.
Additional Support & Class Options
My child has special needs. Can they still attend TCP?
Yes. We are happy to work with an agency of your choice if your child requires additional support.
Can my child attend more than one class?
This may be possible, particularly for our afternoon classes, depending on availability. Please email preschool@tcchurch.ca to discuss options with our director.
Volunteering & Fundraising
Do parents need to volunteer or participate in fundraising throughout the year?
There are no volunteer or fundraising requirements for families enrolled in our program.
