Bob Teskey
Bob was born and raised in Rocky Mountain House and came to Edmonton to go to University. H
e is a partly retired lawyer who has practiced in Edmonton for his entire career. Bob with his late wife, Hazel, is the father of two children, Kent and Caryn and the step father of Cindi and Allison, who are the children of his wife, Val. Bob and Val have seven grandchildren.
Bob has been part of TCC from its beginning and has served in leadership and on various committees over the years. In addition to being the Chair of the Facilities Development and Capital Campaign Team, he is member of the Board of Elders. He and Val, with the help of an awesome Team, coordinate the TCC brunches.
In addition to his involvement at TCC, Bob is Chair of the Board of Trustees of Taylor College and Seminary, is a member of the Board of Governors of the University of Alberta and of the Board of Canadian Blood Services. He is Chair of the Alberta Diabetes Institute and on the Board of TEC Edmonton.
In his free time, Bob and Val provide the hot lunch each Monday at the Jasper Place Health and Wellness Centre. He is an ameteur cook and woodworker and enjoys time at the family cottage at Crimson Lake.
